Important infos before installing
- Synapse consumes a significant amount of resources (both CPU and ARM), and therefore is not recommended for "small" setups such as small ARM boards
- During the install, the generation of Diffie-Hellman parameters may take a significant amount of time. You can speed things up by manually initializing them before running the install:
openssl dhparam -out /etc/ssl/private/dh2048.pem -outform PEM -dsaparam 2048 - The package uses a prebuilt python virtual environnement. The binary are taken from this repository: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/synapse_python_build. The script to build the binary is also available.
